Say Yes to Languages
Thank you so much to Aisling Walls who has brought the Spanish language and culture to life in our senior class over the last 8 weeks. We all looked forward to her coming in each week. Muchas gracias, Aisling!

Read DL Quiz
Huge thanks to Ursula in Buncrana Library for organising and hosting a quiz on our Read DL book “The Lost Girl King”. The scores were very close. Well done to the winning team.

Bake-A-Thon
This afternoon both classrooms held a Bake-A-Thon. Each group made a selection of tasty treats in class. Next came the best part which was, of course, sampling all the goodies!!! This was a lovely treat before we get our Easter holidays.

Súgradh Le Chéile
Today we all took part in a Súgradh Le Chéile workshop. Adults and children took part in a variety of games. Many thanks to our tutor Aoife McColgan and to all the parents and children for their participation. We all had great fun!

Brunswick Trip
Recently, we had an outing to Brunswick Moviebowl in Derry, where we met up with our friends from St. Boden’s, Culdaff. This was part of our Peace IV/Case project. We had a great time catching up in the Bowling Alley and Bananas Play Area. All this playing was very hungry work so afterwards we headed to the cafe for a tasty treat! We had such a fun trip and really enjoyed meeting up with our friends in St. Boden’s.

Garda Station
Look where we were today! We had a lovely visit to Buncrana Garda Station. Garda Anna took us on a tour of the station where we saw the interview rooms, prison cells and the Garda van. Thanks to Garda Anna and her work colleagues for making us feel so welcome and answering all our questions! We all thoroughly enjoyed our visit today.
Active Week Day 4
Today we had a Chill-Out Day at school. We did some yoga, meditation and mindfulness activities. We also got to wear our pyjamas! What a relaxing Friday.

Active Week Day 3
Today we visited our friends in St. Boden’s for lots of fun activities! We did yoga with Odel, mindfulness colouring sheets, fruit kebabs and outdoor games and races. It was a busy day but we just loved catching up with everybody. Thanks to our friends in St. Boden’s for welcoming us to their school. We had a great time.

Active Week Day 2
Today we met our Peace IV partner school, St. Boden’s in Swan Park and we performed our “Jungle Book” dance together. Thanks to Elizabeth Curran for leading our performance. It was lovely to catch up with our friends from St. Boden’s as part of active week.

Active Week Day 1
We met up with our Peace IV partner school St. Boden’s, had a lovely walk along Slí Na Sláinte and finished up with a trip to the playground and a game of beach football.

Hip hop in Swan Park
Our dance lesson with Elizabeth took place in beautiful Swan Park today.

BLAST artwork
As part of the BLAST Initiative with Annette, the Senior Class composed a musical piece to accompany their incredible artwork. Our Junior Class also composed a musical piece to accompany our weather theme.

Pancake Tuesday
We have been looking forward to Pancake Tuesday so much! Mrs Gallagher had a very busy morning making pancakes for us all in St. Mura's and we really enjoyed eating them. Yum, Yum!
